- The annual consumption of electricity for elevators in China is 30 billion kWh. If we can use staircases for lower levels and shut down some elevators during non-peak hours, 10 percent of the electricity, or 3 billion kWh of electricity can be saved, and 2.88 million tons of carbon dioxide can be cut.
Global warming has brought about the frequency and intensity of typhoons, droughts and flood, as well as the acceleration of glacier melting and species becoming extinct. The cause of global warming is carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted by the consumption of fossil fuels, such as coal and petroleum. This gas is trapped in the atmosphere and causes temperatures to rise.
To save the globe and our beautiful planet, we promote an environmental life with a low-carbon footprint. Let us start with the little things in life!
Remember the formula:
1 kWh electricity = 0.4 kg coal + 4 liters water + 1 kg carbon dioxide + 0.03kg sulfur dioxide
