- We normally use water fountains for nine hours in the daytime. According to research, two-thirds of electricity for water fountain is wasted.
- If we turn off the electricity for water fountains when we are not using it, a water fountain can save 366 kWh of electricity annually. The 40 million water fountains in China can save 14.5 billion kWh of electricity annually, and 14.05 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions can be cut.
Global warming has brought about the frequency and intensity of typhoons, droughts and flood, as well as the acceleration of glacier melting and species becoming extinct. The cause of global warming is carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted by the consumption of fossil fuels, such as coal and petroleum. This gas is trapped in the atmosphere and causes temperatures to rise.
To save the globe and our beautiful planet, we promote an environmental life with a low-carbon footprint. Let us start with the little things in life!
Remember the formula:
1 kWh electricity = 0.4 kg coal + 4 liters water + 1 kg carbon dioxide + 0.03kg sulfur dioxide
