- It takes 1.3 kg of coal to produce 1 kg of wrapping paper. The process will emit 3.5 kg of carbon dioxide.
- If the current use of wrapping paper can be reduced by 10 percent in China every year, 1.2 million tons of coal can be saved, and 3.12 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions will be cut.
Global warming has brought about the frequency and intensity of typhoons, droughts and flood, as well as the acceleration of glacier melting and species becoming extinct. The cause of global warming is carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted by the consumption of fossil fuels, such as coal and petroleum. This gas is trapped in the atmosphere and causes temperatures to rise.
To save the globe and our beautiful planet, we promote an environmental life with a low-carbon footprint. Let us start with the little things in life!
Remember the formula:
1 kWh electricity = 0.4 kg coal + 4 liters water + 1 kg carbon dioxide + 0.03kg sulfur dioxide
