A personal note from the President

On June 12, 2009, 10-year-old Kennedy Corpus skipped school to follow his father to participate in Obama's town house-style meeting in Wisconsin. The President noticed the little girl in the crowd and asked if she need him to write a note for her absence from school. He then wrote her a personal note, "To Kennedy's teacher: Please excuse Kennedy's absence. She's with me. Barack Obama."
