A: Lately you've always been watching the US stock market index like you've been in a trance. Do you have some sort of investment plans?

B: Considering that the US Federal Reserve System is going to keep interest rates at zero and that the US' GDP is expected to drop by 6.5 percent, I really have to adjust my investment plans.

A: That makes sense. The new decision by the Federal Reserve System is completely in accordance with market expectations.  The members of the Federal Open Market Committee all think that it will maintain its zero interest rate stance to at least 2022.
