It has long been said that “a pretty woman kills a man's brain cells,” but a recent study carried out by European scientists shows that an attractive woman also lowers a man's IQ and causes him to suffer “flatulence of the brain.''
According to a report published Saturday in German tabloid Bild, scientists at Nijmegen University in the Netherlands studied the effect on men's IQ when dating pretty women.
They selected 50 males and 60 females from the university and let them talk before undergoing an examination.
It showed that those who talked with beautiful girls couldn't think normally during and after the conversation.
Scientists perceived that when a man sees a pretty woman, his first reaction is to give a good impression to her. Such thought will dominate his brain and leave little space for other matters.
The research also revealed that when a woman meets a charming man, her brain will not be affected and she can think normally.
Scientists believe that this is the reason why girls in middle school and university study better than boys.
In addition, the result also explains the failure of some courageous men in front of pretty women.
