Jovanka Broz, widow of Josip Broz Tito, late President and Marshal of former Yugoslavia, was buried Saturday next to her husband in Tito's mausoleum in Belgrade, local media reported.

Broz passed away at the age of 89 on October 20 in Belgrade Clinical Center due to a heart failure.

"Today we do not just say good by to Jovanka Broz, it's also a last fair well to Tito's epoch and time to remember Anti Fascism our greatest treasure from our glorious past," said Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic in front of several thousands of Broz admirers, friends and fellow combatants in front of Tito's mausoleum named House of Flowers.

As a member of the Yugoslav Partisan Army, Jovanka Broz came out of WWII with the rank of Captain (Lieutenant), and was twice decorated for personal courage.
