The launching ceremony of the BTV (Beijing Television) 2014 Global Spring Festival Gala on August 8 announced that 20 BTV shows will be aired in the coming months.

Among the shows will be a bilingual talk show on September 5-7 and October 10-12 hosted by Brother Sway, who was born in Beijing but has lived in America for 27 years. Most of his segments are on the comical differences between Chinese and foreign cultures.

On October 6 and 7, melody fairs will be introduced for audiences by German pianist Joja Wendt, who cannot only play with his hands but can use ping-pong balls and apples.
