After an initial investigation at the site of the incident that a man ran over a dozen of pedestrians in the Christmas market in Nante, Nante's prosecutor Brigitte Lamy said "we can not say it's a terrorist act", said BFMTV.

Monday evening, a man driving a mini van ran over a dozen of pedestrians in the Christmas market in Nantes, hurting 10, including 5 seriously ones, reported BFMTV.

Madame Lamy, said in a press conference at the scene, "this is an isolated case".

According to some witness, the mini van ran into, at full speed, the Christmas market full of people doing Christmas shopping in Royal Square, Nantes. The driver, who also stabbed himself nine times, is seriously wounded as well, said a police source.

An identity found in the mini van showed that the driver is 25-year-old. Also, the police found a notebook in the van with some words written by the driver, which may indicate that he is mentally disordered, said BFMTV.

The police source also confirmed that in this incident, the driver didn't have any religious claim when driving into a hot wine stand.

On Sunday night, a man ran over about 11 pedestrians in Dijon, yelling "Allahou Akbar". But the police confirmed today that the suspect is mentally disordered and has been receiving treatment since 2001.
