Police initiated a public prosecution at Shunyi District Court on Monday against a security guard surnamed Zhang working in a KTV bar charged with intentional injury, the Beijing Morning Post reported. 

Zhang allegedly injured two customers with a stick at the KTV bar in Tianzhu township, Shunyi district, last August because one of them was drunk and did not pay his bill.

Zhang alleged these two customers also beat him and other staff members. Irritated by their behavior, Zhang hit them with a stick, causing minor injuries.
