A tempered glass shower door exploded scattering shards of glass in the bathroom of an apartment in Haidian district, the Beijing Evening Post reported.

No one was hurt. The door was installed before the family moved in. The real estate developer accepted responsibility for the accident, and they will redo the bathroom and repair all the damage caused by the explosion.

Experts say people should not clean tempered glass doors and windows with acid and alkaline cleansers.
