In memory of his beloved cat Tolly, British surrealist Richard Saunders designed a magical creature -- The Topiary Cat.

After his Russian Blue passed away, Mr Saunders created a series of images titled The Topiary Cat, based on old photos of Tolly. In his online adventures, The Topiary Cat has made appearances across England, from lavish estates to sandy beaches. 

The Topiary Cat has received millions of likes and shares on Facebook, with many mistaking the images of giant green cats for real life photographs, despite the consistent efforts of Mr. Saunders to assure them otherwise. 

While the images remain just a product of Mr Saunders' imagination, through working on the Topiary Cat series, he feels as if Tolly is still by his side.
