An exhibition showcasing the history and culture of Anxi opens to the public in Beijing on June 20, 2023. The exhibition will last for three months, featuring over 160 exhibits, more than 100 pictures, and 13 videos, highlighting the inheritance and development of Anxi’s humanistic heritage, arts and crafts of different historical periods, vividly reproducing the rich and colorful cultural landscape of the tea-growing region. Anxi’s handicraft of bamboo and rattan weaving, which is well-known across China, has become the second-largest industry in the region after the tea industry, serving as an important commodity of the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road."
