From September 16 to November 5, 2023, the Palace Museum and the Chinese University of Hong Kong will jointly present an exhibition showcasing Song Dynasty rubbings at the Palace Museum in Beijing. The exhibition features a total of 65 exhibits, including 20 selected rubbings from both the Palace Museum and the Chinese University of Hong Kong's Art Museum. This exhibition provides the public with a platform to fully experience, understand, and appreciate top-notch inscriptions and calligraphy, to explore the charm of Song Dynasty rubbings from various aspects such as calligraphy, literary works, paper and ink, versions, and inheritance, and to feel the essence and elegance of Chinese traditional culture.
