On August 1, 2026, the Museum of the War of the Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression held an immersive, real-life ideological and political education class for students in Beijing to commemorate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA). During the event, student representatives portrayed classic roles such as Eighth Route Army soldiers and women who supported the army, using dramatized scenes to pay tribute to those heroic years. The event also featured a re-enactment of pledges to join the Communist Party of China, the Communist Youth League of China, and the Chinese Young Pioneers, guiding the younger generation to remember history and carry forward the red gene.
