The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opened on Wednesday at the Shougang Park in Beijing. Themed "Global Services, Shared Prosperity," this year's CIFTIS will focus on the goal of “expanding capacity and improving quality,” by hosting exhibitions and displays, business promotion events, achievement releases, and supporting events. The Global Trade in Services Summit and a series of forums on the development of trade in services will also be held concurrently.
A total of 90 countries, regions, and international organizations are participating by setting up exhibitions or holding events. More than 1,800 enterprises will exhibit on-site at the Shougang Park, including 456 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders.
This year’s CIFTIS features nine major themed exhibitions, centered on key and trending areas such as technology, finance, culture and tourism, and healthcare. It will further highlight innovation and the unique characteristics of trade in services, with a focus on showcasing new technologies, new solutions, and new achievements in sectors such as information and communications, fintech, digital healthcare, smart education, and energy conservation and environmental protection.
