A delegation of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement arrived in Egypt on Saturday headed by Ahmed Qurei to take part in the sixth round of the Palestinian dialogue in Cairo.
Fatah delegation includes Qurei, head of the Fatah delegation to the national dialogue, senior Fatah officials Nabil Shaath, Zakaria el-Agha, Azzam el-Ahmed, Samir el-Mashharawy and Maged Farag, said Fatah representative in Egypt, ambassador Barakat al- Fara.
Al-Fara expressed his hope that Fatah and Hamas would end all differences and reach signing a national reconciliation agreement on July 7.
On the other hand, Islamic Hamas movement delegation is expected to arrive in Egypt on Sunday and is due to hold talks with Fatah delegation in the presence of the Egyptian mediator to discuss outstanding issues such as security, elections and the government.
Earlier on Saturday, Egyptian authorities reopened Rafah crossing at the border with the Palestinian territory of Gaza Strip for stranded people at the two sides of the border, in addition to patients, students and other humanitarian cases.
Egypt and Israel sealed off their borders with the Gaza Strip after the Islamic Hamas movement seized the coastal territory in June 2007. Egypt used to open its borders on an irregular basis only for humanitarian cases.
