China's "Twenty-Four Solar Terms" were included on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the UN Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on November 30, during the 11th session of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.
