An online market was launched at the cultural center in East China's Shandong Province on Wednesday in order to promote the province's rich cultural heritage.

The ceremony saw demonstrations and showcases of 100 types of local heritages, from huangjiu (yellow wine) making to colored glaze productions, videos of which were uploaded to various short video apps.

According to the organizers, the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, promoters of these heritages have opened stores on Chinese e-commerce platforms to make them easier to purchase by people who plan to answer the government's call to "stay put during the upcoming Spring Festival."
