U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday will meet virtually with leaders of Japan, India, and Australia, the White House said on Tuesday.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in a daily briefing that a range of issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic, economic cooperation, and the climate crisis, would be discussed during the meeting.

It will be the first time that the United States, Japan, India, and Australia, known as "the Quad", meet at the leader level.
