Palestinian sisters Samia al-Masri, 29, and Doaa al-Masri, 25, make a living by painting in the al-Fawwar refugee camp in the West Bank city of Hebron. They are the major breadwinners of a 12-member refugee family.

The sisters, who both graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the Al-Quds University, started painting four years ago as they could not find jobs after graduation. Now they also sell their paintings online, at prices ranging from 50 to 1,500 shekels ( 15 to 454 U.S. dollars). Their father and one brother are tailors, while another brother is a house painter.
