Kenya recently reinstated stricter measures to contain COVID-19 as the third wave of the virus sees a surge in new cases.

All public gatherings have now been suspended while curfew time is extended in the counties of Nairobi, Kiambu, Machakos, Kajiado and Nakuru that report the most cases in the East African country. Cessation of movement by air, rail or road into and out of those counties are also enforced.
