Lebanon's car company EV Electra launched on Saturday the first locally manufactured electric vehicle named "Quds Rise," in a move to offer more environmentally friendly driving options.

EV Electra plans to start producing up to 10,000 Quds Rise cars in Lebanon later this year. The car is expected to be priced at 30,000 U.S. dollars each.
