A group of Wushu enthusiasts practice Taiji in in the largest park in Moroccan capital Rabat. The event is organized by Royal Moroccan Federation of Wushu and Chinese Cultural Center in Rabat to promote Taiji on the occasion of the World Taiji Day.

The passion of Moroccans for Wushu dates back several decades.

Taijiquan, better known in Africa under the name of Tai chi chuan, transmitted from generation to generation since the 13th century in China and entered in 2020 the Intangible Cultural Heritage list of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
