An exhibition Wonderful Wonder will kick off at Beijing's 798 Art Gallery on June 10 with the aim of popularizing the life sciences through art.

According to Guan Xiu, thhe director of the exhibition on Monday, the whole time have been preparing the past three years for it.

They interviewed more than 50 top life scientists and investigated cutting-edge life sciences and technology and then taking what they learned, transformed it into an immersive art exhibition.

Guan said that the exhibition seeks to present a wonderful view of the evolution of science to visitors. "How can we cure cancer? Can we design organs just like developing a phone app?… After 3 billion years of evolution and under the brutal attack of nature, life has finally arrived at the tree of science and technology, which is shelter from the rain. Now we invite you to look at the future direction of this journey," reads the introduction to the exhibition.

Zhou Yuexin, a professor at the School of Life Sciences of Peking University, said that popularizing science is an enlightening and embracing change for the public. It makes sense for people to be able to receive new information and encourage more young people to get involved in technology.

A highlight of the exhibition is Jing Xiaolei, an artist who uses a futuristic style to explore topics such as the multiverse and parallel universes.
