An exhibition in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu Province sets up a dialogue between artist Chen Shuailang's landscape paper artwork and Mei An's poetry, with academic support from Xu Zhenglong, a professor at Tsinghua University.

Since 2008, Chen started to work on China's traditional xuan paper to create works such as Chinese landscapes but incorporating innovative approaches like impressionist oil painting techniques. Her xuan paper works not only show the pure and ethereal beauty of a natural landscape, but also the Chinese philosophical way of harmonious coexistence, and the spirit of poetic romance in Chinese culture.

Admiring Lao Tzu's thoughts and the existence of water, Mei has created poems on nature and peace including "Way back into Love," which is on display.

The duo will continue to work together in the future.
