Nepal marks National Paddy Day

Farmers wearing traditional clothes in Nepal are planting rice in their fields on the National Paddy Day.

The day, also marked as Ropai Festival, is the beginning of paddy plantation that falls on the 15th day of the Nepali month of Asar in monsoon season.
