check phone/ 看手机/ (kànshǒujī)

A: Do you always have your phone with you no matter the time of day or where you are?

(nǐ shìbùshì huì suíshí suídì bǎ shǒujī dàizài shēnbiān ne?)

B: Yes, my cell phone has become something I can't be without.

A: Research has discovered that unconsciously checking your phone is a bad habit as constantly checking your phone make it easier to be distracted and become forgetful.

(jù yánjiū fāxiàn, xiàyìshí kàn shǒujī shì yīzhǒnɡ bùliánɡ xíɡuàn, pínfán chákàn shǒujī huì rànɡ nǐ ɡènɡ rónɡyì fēnxīn hé jiànwànɡ.)

B: That's true, this isn't a good habit. I always spend too much time on my phone and social media apps.

(quèshí, zhè bùshì yīɡè hǎoxíɡuàn.wǒ zǒnɡshì zài shǒujī hé shèjiāoruǎnjiàn shànɡ huāfèi tàiduō shíjiān.)

A: You have to get over this. You can control the time you use your phone. Pay more attention to day-to-day life and not the things from the virtual world.

(yào kèfú zhè yīdiǎn, kěyǐ kònɡzhì shǒujī shǐyònɡ shíjiān.duō ɡuānzhù rìchánɡshēnɡhuó zhōnɡ de nèirónɡ, ér bùshì xūnǐshìjièlǐde dōnɡxī.)

B: You're right. I'll pay more attention. I really don't pay much attention to life.

(nǐ shuōde duì, wǒyào zhùyì yīxià le.wǒ quèshí hěnshǎo ɡuānzhù shēnɡhuó.)
