France's Nice listed as UNESCO's World Heritage site

France's Mediterranean city of Nice has been listed as UNESCO's World Heritage site during the World Heritage Committee's conference earlier this week.

The city was honored for it being the "winter resort town of the Riviera."

The 44th session of the World Heritage Committee, chaired online in Fuzhou, China, concluded on Saturday.
