green space/ 绿色空间/ (lǜsè kōnɡjiān)

A: If you want to live longer, you should  live in a green space.

(rúɡuǒ nǐxiǎnɡ huódé ɡènɡjiǔ, nàjiù shēnɡhuózài lǜsè kōnɡjiān bā.)

B: What do you mean?

(shíme yìsī ne?)

A: Research shows that when a person's home has a lot of green plants, their rate of death is lower than people with few green plants in their homes.

B: Really? Does the green coverage around dwellings count as well?

(zhēndema? zhùsuǒ zhōuwéide zhíbèi suànma?)

A: The larger the plant coverage around a dwelling, the longer that person will live. This includes, grass, trees, flower gardens or public green spaces.

(zhùsuǒ zhōuwéi zhíbèi miànjī ɡènɡdà de rén bǐ qítārén shòumìnɡ ɡènɡchánɡ.bāokuò cǎo,shù,huāyuán huòshì ɡōnɡɡònɡ lǜdì.)

B: Then I want to more trees in my flower garden. It will not only make the environment prettier, it will make me healthier.

(nàme wǒyào zài zìjǐde huāyuán duō zhǒnɡxiē shùle, bùjǐn nénɡ měihuà huánjìnɡ, yěnénɡ rànɡ zìjǐde shēnxīn ɡènɡ jiànkānɡ.)

A: You can also put some plants inside.

(nǐyě kěyǐ zài shìnèi bǎifànɡ yīxiē lǜsè zhíwù.)
