Shenzhen Fine Made Electronics Group Co was sued by Shenzhen LP Display Technology Co on July 8 for alleged violation of China's Anti-Monopoly Law, and nine other companies expressing their willingness to join the lawsuit, LP Display Technology announced on its official WeChat account on Thursday.
LP Display Technology reported its parts supplier Fine Made Electronic Group Co's violation of country's Anti-monopoly Law on July 8, including refusal to fulfill contract stipulations, and unfairly raising the purchase prices of materials, to the China Optics & Optoelectronics Manufactures Association and the Anti-Monopoly Bureau of State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), the company said.
The company announcement also said that LP Display Technology Co has provided 1 million yuan of financial aid to other players in the industry which might want to join the litigation. So far, nearly 100 affected companies offered their support, with nine willing to join the lawsuit as of Thursday.
Fine Made Electronics Group revealed to media on Thursday that the company had no direct supply relationship with LP Display Technology, and its parts supply prices were adjusted by the market.
Fine Made Electronic Group also said that LP Display Technology had slandered them repeatedly in the past, and they are planning to sue LP Display Technology Co for unfair competition and damage done to the company's brand.
