A cavalry competition has been held over the weekend on the site of the Battle of Waterloo in Braine-l'Alleud, a town that lies about 20 kilometers south of Belgian capital Brussels.

During the competition, some 30 riders compete in several events like orienteering races, cavalry charge demonstrations, and saber exercises while riding the horse.

Named the Memorial Trophy, the competition was organized by the Waterloo 1815 Memorial.
