The Taliban armed forces overran eastern Panjshir province following heavy fightings on Monday, seizing control over the last province of Afghanistan's 34 provinces, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid confirmed.

The Panjshir Valley has been "completely captured," he tweeted.
