Do you know the word orangutan is derived from two words in Malay and Indonesian language with "Orang" means "person" and "utan" means forest. So literally, orangutan means "person of the forests",

And for good reason: humans and orangutans share 97 percent of the same DNA and they are truly some of human beings' closest living relatives.

However tragically, the orangutan population has been reduced to just 50 percent of what is was in 1960 as their lush and ancient home forests being destroyed.

Conservation work is imperative. In Aceh, Indonesia, two wild Sumatran Orangutan were evacuated from villagers' plantations, they will be delivered to Jantho Orangutan Reintroduction Center to following the conservation program before send to the wild.
