Editor's Note:

China aims to hit the peak of its CO2 emissions before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060. To meet these goals, the country has formulated and released a top-level design document for peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality, and an action plan for peaking carbon emissions before 2030. As a responsible country, China is ready to share its experience and approaches with the rest of the international community. As the 26th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change continues in Glasgow, Scotland, the Global Times illustrates China's roadmap in tackling climate change, its achievements so far, and its contribution to the world in the area.
