Chinese artists Liao Man, Ma Lingli and Geng Yini are sharing their different takes on mythical creatures through art creations on display at the Qiong Jiu Tang in Beijing's Caochangdi Art Zone.
The leopard has become a central character in Liao's paintings. According to the artist, leopards exist in an ethereal and illusory space. They are charming and keen creatures, and they have the power of gentleness and determination.
The other two artists, Ma and Geng, focus on rethinking the topic through art installations that sees these mythical beasts as "invisible creatures that control you."
The Mythical Creature exhibition is set to run until December 22.
