Parasite - Stage play

The stage play is adapted from the Oscar-winning South Korean film helmed by Bong Joon-ho. The original black comedy film that touches on the struggle between people of different social classes became a sensation after its release in 2019. The newly adapted stage play is going to interpret this hot IP again for audiences in China.

Comedy Music Open Mic - Stand-up comedy open mic 

This event is going to be exciting for stand-up comedy fans. Audiences are encouraged to take the mic if they want to share their wit on stage. The comedy session is going to be English only, so join the show if you want to take the chance to learn English while having a fun time. 

The venue is called the Nuts Live house, a live music bar that is very popular among young people. It also regularly hosts rock and hip-pop live gigs, so check it out, you'll like to find many people in town.

Marilyn Minter Exhibition - Art exhibition 

The art exhibition in Beijing is going to be Marilyn Minter's debut exhibition in China. Minster is a contemporary artist based in New York. She creates photographs and paintings with an exceptional artistic sensitivity on the subjects such as feminism, sesuality and identity. 

She is best known for her photographic works inspired by the genre of photorealism.

Where: Bole Art Center, Shunyi district, Beijing

Spirit of Life - musical 

If there is one musician whose music can touch audiences across different generations regardless of their age differences, then Jonathan Lee is definitely is that one. The suave musician from the Island of Taiwan has created many unique prose-like music pieces that talk about love. 

The musical is inspired by Lee's songs. The performers on stage will sing his best works from the past 30 years. 

Besides including emerging popular singers such as Zhai Li, Tian Shuo and Jin Chi, the show is also underpinned by a professional production team with international talents such stage designer Derek McLane and director John Rando.
