The art museum at Southwest Minzu University in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is hosting an exhibition featuring more than 220 artworks ranging from paintings to sculptures by renowned artists and young promising talents in Southwest China.

Hosted by Southwest Minzu University and the Sichuan Artists Association, the exhibition is not only a good opportunity for these artists to communicate with each other, but also an excellent platform for various ethnic groups in the region.

Inspired by the geography and culture of China's western regions, these works depict the snow-capped mountains, grasslands and lakes, animals and plants in the region as well as the happy lives of the various ethnic groups living there.

The exhibition is set to run until January 8, 2022.
