Air China completed a maiden flight for the "Xuexi Qiangguo" learning platform with the flight safely landing at Wuhan airport, Central China's Hubei Province on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, flight CA8204 flew from Beijing at 10:45 am, and the carrier hopes to bring a New Year gift for travelers by providing richer in-flight cultural content.
Shortly after takeoff, the flight attendant explained how to log in to the cabin network platform to browse the content of the version through the in-flight broadcast. Passengers can view more than 200 videos and audio features using the platform.
During the event, Air China crew members presented prepared gift packages to passengers, filling the entire cabin with a festive atmosphere.
The aviation app version of "Xuexi Qiangguo" or "study and strengthen the nation" is seen as an important measure taken by Air China to enhance in-flight cultural services.
The aviation version complements existing mobile, PC, and in-car editions.

Working with the app platform, Air China selects cultural content linked to aviation from other learning platforms. Passengers can access the Air China cabin network platform after take-off, click on the home page to enter, and start learning in air.
The aviation version has five sections, including learning new ideas, Beijing Winter Olympics and watching movies. The Beijing Winter Olympics section introduces hotspots relating to the Games aimed at sharing the Olympic spirit. The movies section integrates knowledge and entertainment content.
One passenger surnamed Zhang said that the aviation version extends the time and space for learning, and made flying more fun. As of January 1, 2022, Air China has completed the in-cabin wireless modification for 359 aircraft in addition to 15 air-ground interconnected aircraft, forming a fleet of in-flight network services.
Air China said it will further cooperate with the "Xuexi Qiangguo" app platform to bring more content to the skies, broadening the in-flight learning channels, and providing more services to passengers.
