A girl surnamed Yang recently had a very funny experience with high-speed railway station in Shanghai. She passed through the Hangzhou high-speed railway station in the morning without makeup and then arrived in Shanghai with makeup on. In the evening, when Yang returned from Shanghai, however, she failed the identification process due to her makeup.

Netizens were surprised by her makeup techniques and joked that this is the ceiling of effective makeup. According to Yang, she was allowed to pass after staff members came to verify her identity. 

Some netizens said that it is better to prevent using such techniques in public in case there are criminals using such methods to escape. "This tells us that when we join blind dates, we may need to look at each other's photos without makeup, in case we cannot recognize each other," one netizen said.
