The national orienteering ski series culminated in Beidahu, Northeast China's Jilin Province on Saturday, with over 500 enthusiasts competed in the season-ender race.

The season finale, where the top three finishing groups in the last four games are competing, saw Team "What you said are right" winning the ultimate championship in 1 hour, 59 minutes and 21 seconds, on top of their victory in Yabuli in Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.

Li Tianle, a team member of the winning team, said trusting each other is the key for the win.

"It is quite complicated slopes in Beidahu here, which require us to communicate very often to coordinate our strategy," he said.

The grass-roots event has become a top choice for skiing enthusiasts in China as it calls for cooperation of three skiers instead of individual elites. Additionally, the organizers are offering free skiing training for kids under 12 years old, as they aim to promote winter sports among younger generations.
