India's national polio immunisation program launched in Bangalore

The Indian National Pulse Polio Immunisation Program was launched in Bangalore on Sunday by administering the polio vaccine to children under 5 years of age.

Polio is a highly infectious viral disease that largely affects children under 5 years of age.
