A martial arts training video shot by a student at Hebei University in Baoding, North China's Hebei Province in his spare time has recently attracted the attention of netizens.

Dressed in traditional Chinese costume, the student surnamed Zhang, practiced martial arts with a gun and sword on the school playground, park, and lawn.

Zhang said that he has fell in love with martial arts since he was a child, and shooting the martial arts video was a way to not only record his youth, but also introduce traditional Chinese martial arts to more people.

Zhang added that he will be making these martial arts videos until he graduates, as a way to make up for his four-year college life.

"He is so cool in the traditional costume and with his posture while performing martial arts," said one netizen on Weibo, the Chinese twitter-like social media.
