qingtuan - also known as green dumplings/ 青团 / (qīnɡtuán)

A: Do you like China's traditional snacks? 

你喜欢中国的传统小吃吗?

(nǐ xǐhuān  zhōnɡɡuó de chuántǒnɡ xiǎochī ma?)

B: I really like them. Among all the various traditional Chinese snacks, qingtuan is my favorite traditional Chinese dessert.

我非常喜欢,在不同的中国传统小吃里,青团是我最喜欢的传统中式甜点。

(wǒ fēichánɡ xǐhuān, zài bùtónɡ de zhōnɡɡuó chuántǒnɡ xiǎochī lǐ, qīnɡtuán shì wǒ zuì xǐhuānde chuántǒnɡ zhōnɡshì tiándiǎn.)

A: Really? What kinds of qingtuan fillings have you eaten?

是吗?那你都吃过什么馅的青团呢?

(shìma? nànǐ dōu chīɡuò shenme xiàn de qīnɡtuán ne?)

B: I know that qingtuan with red bean fillings are the more traditional flavor. I've also eaten salty egg and meat floss qingtuan. They are nice too. 

我知道红豆沙馅的青团是比较传统的口味,此外,我还吃过咸蛋黄和肉松馅的青团。它们也很美味。

(wǒ zhīdào hónɡdòushā xiàn de qīnɡtuán shì bǐjiào chuántǒnɡ de kǒuwèi, cǐwài, wǒhái chīɡuò xiándànhuánɡ hé ròusōnɡ xiànde qīnɡtuán.tāmén yě hěn měiwèi.)

A: Do you know the origin of these snacks? 

那你知道这种小吃的来历吗?

(nà nǐ zhīdào zhèzhǒnɡ xiǎochī de láilì ma?)

B: Qingtuan are a traditional snack eaten during the Qingming Festival. They are made by mixing Chinese mugwort juice with glutinous rice flour. A lot of people take them on spring vacations.    

青团是人们在清明节吃的一道传统点心,它是用艾草汁拌进糯米粉里做的,很多人会带着它们去春游。

(qīnɡtuán shì rénmén zài qīnɡmínɡjié chīde yīdào chuántǒnɡ diǎnxīn, tāshì yònɡ àicǎo zhī bànjìn nuòmǐfěn lǐ zuòde, hěnduōrén huì dàizhe tāmén qù chūnyóu.)
