Recently, a video of a woman receiving large carrots and onions drew a heated discussion on the social media platforms. The material package was donated from Anhui Province.

"I was shocked to find two super large carrots, two or three times bigger than normal, even the onion is the same size as cabbage, I have never seen such a big vegetable bags," said Ren, who posted the video online which shows the donated supplies are two sizes larger than those Ren bought herself. "After experiencing a shortage of supplies, now with fully adequate food, it feels like Shanghai is slowly returning to normal," one netizen said. 

Recently, the food supplies of Shanghai residents have received a lot of attention since the epidemic broke out. The number of stores offering online business in Shanghai has doubled from last week, and 80 percent of all stores in Shanghai will restore online business by the end of the week. In addition to locals, workers from all across the country are rushing to Shanghai to expand storing capacity. "It is hoped that Shanghai can stabilize as soon as possible and return to normal life and order," another netizen said.
