China may conduct automobile promotion policy in rural area in June: report

China may issue policies to promote the sales of automobile in rural area starting in June, which will grant 3,000 to 5,000 yuan ($740.89) subsidies to the gas or new energy vehicles selling within 150,000 yuan, China Securities Journal reported on Wednesday.

Analysts predicted that the supportive policy to increase 20,000 to 30,000 and 30,000 to 50,000 sales volumes of gas and new energy vehicles, respectively.

China's State Council has listed the relevant measurements to boost economy in a document published on April 25, which stated that to support the development of new energy vehicles and to promote the sales of home appliances and vehicles in rural areas.
