A video clip saying "schoolteachers still work overtime in front of a computer during power cut" has triggered netizen's suspicions, some of whom criticized the video as a publicity stunt, questioning how the computer could normally work during a power outage.

The video posted by the Henan Broadcasting System on the Chinese short video platform Douyin on Saturday showed two teachers from a school in Jiyuan city of Central China's Henan Province holding a flashlight in the dark in front of a desktop computer.

Some netizens questioned how the computer could normally work during a power outage. Others said the teachers could be using an emergency power supply, which is not expensive to buy, to make the computer work normally. The video is not available to watch at this time.
