A hundred pigs on a high-speed truck in Bengbu, a city in East China's Anhui Province suffered from heat stroke, and firefighters rushed to the scene to spray water to cool them down and succeeded in improving the conditions of those pigs.

The fire and rescue department in Bengbu received a report that 100 pigs being transported by trucks on a highway had suffered from heat stroke during the high-temperature weather.

Many places in China have been experiencing high temperatures in recent days. The Central Meteorological Observatory has issued an orange high-temperature warning for several days, with temperatures in some areas reaching more than 40 C.

After receiving the alarm, firefighters rushed to the scene and sprayed the pigs with water guns to cool them down. The slouched pigs became active again after nearly 15 minutes of cooling.
