Europe is facing a heatwave following an unusually early and intense heatwave coming from North Africa, with governments of many European countries issuing warnings to the public and instructions on how to "survive" it.

In Turkey's Istanbul, a beautiful city that straddles Europe and Asia, people jump into the Bosphorus strait as a way to keep cool in hot summer.
