The story of a single father born in the 1990s taking his 4-year-old daughter on for a bike ride touched millions of netizens two years ago. Traveling more than 4,000 kilometers from Dongguan in South China's Guangdong Province to Southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region sounds like an impossible mission, but they did it in 71 days. Now that they have completed the two-year bike trip, the little girl will return to Guangdong to attend school.

Two years ago, because of the epidemic, a single father, surnamed Dou, realized that life is unpredictable, and no one can know for sure what will happen tomorrow. So he decided to quit his job and take his daughter on a trip to see the beauty of life. Dou, who had enjoyed traveling by bike, found this way of traveling so interesting that he wanted to make it an unforgettable experience for his daughter as well. 

Along the way, Dou taught his daughter to learn and take care of herself. Now they are planning to travel all the way back to Guangdong as a gift for his daughter before she starts primary school in September. 

"I may not be able to leave my daughter a few houses, but I want to leave her the world and the memories of me exploring the world with her," Dou said.
